A character in the comics who gets possessed and "saved" with the Alpha key while using the Hercules key does survive for longer than normal which makes me wonder if someone in that situation could be saved by being put in the mending cabinet. Otherwise if they die their souls are infected, like how Dodge is still apart of Lucas echo. So it frees theres souls, but kills their body. So in the comics, if I'm remembering right, the reason the Alpha key kills the person it saves is that when it kills the demon it turns into solid whispering iron inside the person's body, which kills them. I honestly would have enjoyed a "Car key" that turns on any 4 wheel device. His intention certainly wasn't "remove demon", it was "bring Jackie back" From the way Tyler made that key and his "intentions", i'd assume the alpha key turned people into Jackie clones.

Otherwise it's a damned lucky coincidence that they happen to live a 3 min walk from a dimension door i don't think it takes Locke blood to make a key, i think it's just whomever hears the iron, it just happened to be Lockes every time. Including why the door opened at all if a key was made to specifically seal it, and why she re-appeared UNDER the rubble and not a demon. Everything that has to do with Ellie coming back. Why did they not use the memory key on Mom throughout the season. There's no way the elevator brought him down with the shape the building was in. How did Tyler put the alpha key in Dodge. Sorry I'm a bit frustrated about this season, but still enjoyed it though.

It's mindboggeling insane how often they loose important keys or forget to use them like the Hercules key when they fight the demons the first time this season or using the tiny house inside the well house and flicking him through the anywhere door into there. Their amount of stupidity should also be an plothole, but I can overlook that. When Bode and Gabe played around with the keys how was Gabe able to take the Ghost Key from Bode?
